Yes Korky get those alloys off and give them some love and attention inside and out. Belated congratulations on your new arrival no wonder your car is a bit neglected. <img src="images/smileys/smiley32.gif" align="middle" />
Mine is being CQuartz protected next week. Mates rates but should help preserve the gleaming paintwork.

I had the AutoGlym system on my last Yeti and it did exactly as said, especially on the inside when one of our dogs decided to bring his food up on the rear carpet, the carpet guard shielded it perfectly. The paintwork and glass was still pristine even up to trading it in, making washing so easy.I decided to get the Nissan system on my QQ after negotiating a 50% discount at the time of ordering, so far I am happy with the quality of the work and the kit that comes with it. If you can get a discount I would definitely recommend it.

I had my A6 done with safe guard, when I sold it with 97K on the clock it didn't have a single scratch Safe Guard is expensive but for me , worth every pound.I have had it put on 3 x bmw's and a Land Rover all looked great when I sold them. When I work out how precious my time is, it out weighs the £250, based on 6 hours of putting it on I even washed it to show good will, never again, its cheaper to have a mini valet done, only £8

I've used the Turtle Wax ICE paste wax on a previous car and it is good stuff. I think with any product like this its often down to personal preference. I personally don't think you can go wrong with Autoglym HD wax. Its easy to apply and remove and lasts for months as long as the car is washed with a good shampoo or wash/wax. Its very forgiving and produces a good shine. I've done my QQ twice with it since I got it, just to make sure i've got a good coating. I'm often complemented on how shiny my cars are. My old BMW was 7 years old and shamed many much younger ones in our work car park.I personally wouldn't use a automatic car wash or allow some eastern European's to spray god-knows-what on it but each to their own.

I agree. Most car washes use TFR (traffic film remover). Which will strip wax and undue all your hard work. One product I can also recommend as stated in my previous posts is Car pro reload as a finishing glaze. I applied it myself at the dealers and its shedding water like a ducks back and really shows the storm white paint to its best. It is keeping the car much cleaner and it can be used on glass and plastic to.
