Thought you Qq fans might be interested in this pic I took in the supermarket car park. It's a pre-Second World War Austin 7 (right - errr, no, left :D) and my August 2017 Qashqai. Eighty years of design and development are clearly apparent. Thought it best to black out the reg of each car - probably being over-cautious.

But an Austin 7 made it up Ben Nevis with a passenger in 1928... ;)

Didn't Datsun (Nissan) copy or make under licence the Austin Seven, back in the late 1920's?
