Same Problem Again

So The start stop system fault has come back again upon two previous visit to Nissan London West A clutch switch and a battery recharge were conducted and its been good for 3 months and now its shown up again anyone know what it could be as the earliest the dealer can book it in is the 7th August 2018 which is far and its getting on my nerve as to why it wasnt fixed the first time.

Often caused by duff / flat battery as you'll have read here elsewhere; has dealer confirmed your battery
isn't from a faulty batch?
Could be 'flat*' if aircon on continuously in current high temperatures, or doing only short runs.

* Nissan's STOP/ START is very particular and needs a whole set of parameters to
be met, before it'll operate.

Can you try another dealer to be seen quicker?

Hi there Gel the batery was replaced back in January when it had its first Service and it does do 10 Mile trip everyday of the week and the air conditioning really doesnt get used maybe twice a week and this fault has only shown up now and now there is no other dealer close to me that has good reviews West Way Hanwell are rubbish so what can i do?

10 miles is a quite short trip, so maybe it does not have chance to charge enough especially when start stop is used.
Maybe a drip charger one a week does the trick..

Just some feedback on our QQ. We had our original Battery changed on our Aug 14 QQ in Jan 17 and it is now 18 months old. The original was not faulty but there were a lot of QQ electrical problems in the early days and our Dealer decided to change it under Warranty. Our QQ is normally only used daily on a 5 mile run, AC is permanently ON and its even been parked up for 8 weeks, also we have a Webasto Heating System (Winter) and “Touch Wood” it is still performing OK - perhaps we are just lucky Dave
PS : as Gel has mentioned look around for another Dealer or even raise the issue with NCS if you are lucky it might help
