Agreed, I have done this myself, but there are more benefits to doing it yourself.
1. once you have the trigger you dont need to buy another and can be used over and over again. Even just to check the pressure like you would do with a car tyre. process is different though
2. the bottle can do more than one car if its just a topup.
3. The bottle can be returned for a refund. I think its £10 - £15 from halfords.
4. You can do it yourself at home & dont need to travel to a garage & wait.
