Just had 1.6 tekna xtronic 2016 serviced at main dealer at 22k. Having retired at the end of the year I wasn’t ready for the complete crass service provided as my Audi A4 and the Astra before it used to be collected from home by the service receptionist who lives 3 miles away and delivered back on her way home. Ok so the traffic in was bad So temper a little frayed but the loan car (juke 1.6 petrol visia wow! No power no brakes no kit just confirms I’ll never buy 1... ) was ready. Asked for a call when ready as it was a minor service expected to get home (1hour) and turn round again. Nope I called them at 15.20 will call you back which they did in 20 mins. Be ready in an hour that’s ok it’ll take me an hour to get to you. Got there 16.45 and still waiting at 17.25. A lady had already been waiting 1.5 hours took a call from them whilst she was sitting in the showroom to say her car was ready! She was still waiting when I left “ just looking for the paperwork “ . She was not impressed. The only positive if it can be called that is they’ve agreed to submit a warranty claim to Nissan uk for wire worm on on 4 wheels. Won’t name the dealer unless they don’t sort the wheels but hardly a positive advert for Nissan.. back in the 1980s I had an Alfa sud when the dealers Scotland street motors of Sheffield knew my name were ready and did just about everything I’d have to expected them to do for a 26 year old customer with a fully paid for 3 year old car..

When you go into the showroom to buy a new car you’re a potential new customer, once you have purchased the car you’re a hostage.

It ain‘t always that bad. I booked our QQ in for a „Major“ on the 6th @ 08:30 after checking the paperwork I got the Service Car (Micra) and when asked when did I need the car I said 15:00 as at 16:00 there was WM Football. I picked the QQ up @ 15:00 went over the Check List, paid and left - Dave :D

My experience
I had a 1.5dci Juke acenta premium, it was superb and if I didn't need the extra space, I'd have had another.

At a service - please collect the car at 15:00, car washed and ready to take away.

Seems to dependant on the Dealer

The dealer picked my car up for its first annual service, when they delivered it back they said it had been cleaned and warned me about the dangerous condition of my tyres, needless to say the car hadn't been cleaned and the tyres had only done 7,000 miles since the (new) car came out of the showroom.

I did speak to the dealership and they did apologise, they could not find out where the information about the tyres came from!!!!!!

Ok mistakes do happen but it does make you wonder about the quality of the service itself, generally, other than the above, the dealer has been ok.

Mike, Whoops I forgot to mention the Car Wash. Unfortunately there are Good & Bad everywhere and this is why it wise to stick with a Good Dealer when you find one - Dave 😋

Oh the car had been wage but again something I’d becom3 accustomed to as all lex fleet vehicles have to be vacc d and washed. Auto door lock module arrived yesterday following a link on this site and works perfectly. Now if only I could drop/raise the windows via the remote I’d be happy

As per the previous post, I have a lex leased vehicle and for its first service last month was collected from work and returned when expected vac'ed and washed with no problems. So far so good as previous experience with local Toyota dealership was faultless :D
