Hi Terry, yes they are black covers, so the bolt head size is 21mm, and 17mm for the locking nut.
Thanks S.

I have the black covers on my 2015 ntec+ with 18 inch wheels and the bolts under the cover are 17mm the same as the locking nut.

Well Dan, after a closer investigation you are correct sir, removed the plastic covers after I finally found the tool, and the studs are 17mm as well. :D
Much obliged, Steven.

You're welcome.

I recently purchased a spare wheel as I don't trust the gunk that comes with the car I'd rather a space saver than a can of fome to get me out of trouble. I got a genuine Nissan one from eBay for £125 including delivery.

I’ve found a matching alloy with near new tyre on eBay for £109.99 delivered, I don’t fancy being stuck either.
I did get the bottle of Slime as recommended on here which doesn’t ruin the tyre, it’s just loosing so much room in the boot with a full size spare.
Why they couldn’t leave a proper well to accommodate it is annoying.

That's why I got the space saver as it fits in the well it also came with Jack wheel brace and the polystyrene inserts to house it all. I'd prefer a proper full size but like you say it takes up to much space in the boot.

Atleast I know I can put on the spare wheel and carry on to a tyre shop to have the tyre replaced/ repaird without having to ruin the tyre with gunk or wait for the tax to come out.

Dan, does the space saver fit flat under the carpet?
I tried my wife’s SS from her I10 and even that was quite proud of the well.

It fits nicely in the well only slightly taller than without out maybe a few mm but you don't lose the storage area under the flase floor.

Steven, here is our setup in our QQ J11A and we can still leave the Flexible Cover over the Wheel + the Hard Floor 2x Section Floor. Yes you do loose space but if you need the satisfaction of having a Spare Wheel there is not much you can do. It is highly likely that you have a different setup in the J11B though which needs checking - Dave :D

Interesting picture Dave, I can now see how the added foam inserts around the SS make it all flat again.
Thanks very much.
Steven.
