Hello,
I have just discovered my driver seat heating system, right in time for winter, not working anymore. So after Nissan dealer diagnostics I have to pay whooping £600 for labourer and two heating elements inside the chair. I wonder if there is cheaper way to fix this issue by perhaps buying those elements and replacing it by myself.
The point is car is on the lease and is out of warranty. I am not sure if this problem is part of wear&tear under leasing agreement or do I have to fix it before hand it back. Anyways I am not keen to pay as much as this for cosmetic issue like one.
Any advise appreciated.
Thanks

Can’t you live without a warm bum until you hand it back.
For £600 I know what I’d do.

Highly unlikely that'll be on lease companies generic check list when checking car!
