windscreen washer pump

hi I do not know if its true but had to have the pump replaced as told using cheap windscreen wash from wilkos etc its to much salt in it and turns to gunk and burns motors out, as was told but been using it for years in all my cars with no problem so think nissan need to rethink there pumps to make stronger to handle it
