New Quashqai 1.6 petrol release date?

I have a five year old 2.0 petrol qashqai and have been hanging on for the new one to come out. I only do 10k miles a year and all stop start driving in Oxford so don't want a diesel.Would like the 1.6 petrol but no one knows at my local Nissan dealership when it will be available.help?

Me too. I didn't like the lag when powering up on the 1.2 during the test drive.
I gather availability won't be until Sept., but hope to be proved wrong.

My guessing is that its going to be a while if they have yet to announce it. I jumped for the 1.2 myself as I didn't want to wait any longer and the lag you speak of is hardly there to be honest once you adjust your driving style for the engine. With the current delays, if they announce it in the last quarter of 2014, then you will probably be looking at first quarter of 2015 for delivery easily.
