Rear hatch too high

My better half is getting on a little and is finding it difficult to close the rear hatch.
Any solutions other than a loop of string attached somewhere on the locking device.
I had a Yeti a few years ago which did have something to grab hold of to lower the hatch!

There are after market kits out there Nissan Qashqai Power Tailgate Kit but where you could get them not sure you would need to do some digging

You can find some here but then you would need them fitting

Terry, not sure if this might help but this was the old post regarding Power Lift Tailgates and I was interested, but in the end there was no real conclusion on the information or who actually Installed one, shame as it looked interesting Dave :D
I believe one restriction was the limited height.

Yes was having a read of that post Dave, I have managed to find good install instructions but the cost of a kit is very expensive for what it does.
If it was some thing I needed then I could justify the cost but as it would just be adding a novelty to the car I can not really justify that much for the kit

Terry, The ones you showed were the Chinese Version & an Australian Version and I actually tried to contact the AU Nissan Dealer but no luck  . I have been looking around here and found this Co. that manufacturers Kits for the Rogue (not Sport or our QQ) called VOXX Electronics, here are some facts just for interest - Dave πŸ˜‰

I did come across this company but as they did not make the kit for the Rouge sport/Qashqai thought best not to post, it is a very expensive item to purchase so I suppose you would have to need it rather than just want it.
