Thanks Dave...I did play around with R12 and others in the 70's mainly on refrig/main plant aircon. I discovered some years later that I was responsible for the ozone layer widening hole. I had ceased years before but have watched gas changes/legislation since.
My job was fixing control electronics when the manufacturer mechanic failed to turn up, so got to play with the gassing stuff. Life is unbearable at 42 deg C.
