ex.pat, firstly welcome to the Forum. Out here in Germany we have Summer & Winter Tyres / Wheels so therefore we have two sets of these TPMS Valves in use. We went for the Nissan Type as it was convenient and easier when the wheels are changed over and reset. They are 5 years old now and still working, these are Nissan Products but there are cheaper ones around, depends how deep your pocket is and the quality - Dave 😉

It seems they aren't compatible (did they change the TPMS technology in 2017?). Still on the lookout on how to keep the vehicle systems all running without having to go into the dealers every 6 months when I change wheels. May have to revert to the good old fashioned checking the tyre pressures manually trick.

ex.pat, OK so it is the wrong one so perhaps you do have the number then. There are lots of Nissan plus other Supplier No’s around and even if you read the attached post you will see a lot of numbers mentioned. My advice is contact your Dealer so you get “Exactly” the same for both sets of wheels - Dave 🤨

This is a No. that appears a lot :

This is the part number which has been supplied. 40770-4CB1B
Alas its £96 a unit which puts the price out of realistic contention (unless an alternative unit is available elsewhere).
