Hi All,

Am seriously thinking of going the leasing route for my QQ.
I am being offered maintenance at £32 per month on top of the vehicle charge.
This will total £1152 over a three year term.

From what I have seen so far that is way over what I am likely to pay if I arrange my own servicing etc.
I understand that the maintenance with the leasing company covers tyres etc but even then am not sure I will see any benefit from taking out the maintenance contact with the lease company.

Can anyone share any info?
For example:
How much you may have spent on a new vehicle in the first three years?
Is there a specific place to find the service schedule for a Petrol QQ - all i am finding is service due every 12 months or 12k miles?

Thankful for your time!

Sounds quite expensive, unless you do enough mileage to run through a set of tyres.

My thoughts entirely. The last set of boots cost me about £500.

Thanks for the replies, I take it £500 was for Michelin or similar?

Just to give you some Feedback from across the water in Germany. This is what we have paid out on Servicing on our 2014 QQ Tekna 1,2 L Manual over a 3 Year period. Servicing has always been done by our Nissan Dealer using Nissan Costs and naturally for the Service Stamp & Guarantee.
Tyre cost is always a personal decision and the cost can naturally vary regarding so called “Cheapies” & the Bigger Manufacturers Products.
All problems and defects were carried out by our Dealer under the Nissan Guarantee.
Our QQ is now 4 years old and over a 3 year period which you were interested in regarding Minor / Major / TÜV (MOT) Services the total inclusive cost was €875 (£785).
Our Service Manual states for Servicing : 12 months 20,000 Kms (12,500 miles) / 24 months 40,000 Kms (25,000 miles) / 36 months 60,000 kms (37,500 miles).
I hope this information is of some help - Dave 😉

You won't get leading-brand tyres for £500 - in 2017 I paid £636.60 for Dunlop Sport Maxx - that was the cheapest I could find for a decently rated tyre (*). Michelins would have been closer to £800. I've just done an online quote and found Michelin Pilot Sport 4 for £175.12 each though - still over £700. Dunlop Sport Maxx are £165.78

Essentially it depends on whether you're going to wear out a set of tyres during the lease and what tyres they are contracting to fit.

I had to replace mine at 14,000 miles.

A service is due every twelve months so you're going to need at least three - that's around £650.

" - please note that the Dunlop Sport Maxx was a very good tyre EXCEPT it was useless on snow...

You haven't stated what your annual mileage is.

Gloucester, the Dunlop Tyres are what our QQ was delivered with but these are not designed as “Winter” Tyres that is why we have 2 sets of wheels out here Summer & Winter. Ours Dunlop’s have just done 14,000 miles (22,000 Kms) and still have 6,5mm depth left as checked by Nissan, it just depends how you drive on them - Dave 🤨

The original Michelins were changed at 14,000.

Very few people in the UK bother with winter tyres. I live on a main road which is snowploughed so wasn't really inconvenienced - just took a lot of effort to get onto the drive with about 50mm of snow!

Since I've had the Ignis we've not had any snow - it's exceptionally mild this year.
