If you just want them for the looks ( as they are not practical for getting in/out of car ) then I would go for the round side bars instead, they sit more under the sill instead of the side step that tends to stick out a little further.
The side running boards are supposed to be great for getting the bottom of your trousers dirty or the wifes nice dress when getting in/out the car.
