Hi Folks,
Bought our Qashqai 2nd gen 1.2 Petrol CVT 2015 plate, last August and last month had stop start warning which came and gone. Now today upon driving back home from work noticed warning signs on the dashboard had;
System fault, followed by Chasis control fault and
Engine malfunction light - solid orange.
Not sure what to do, though these lights came on as I was near home. The car came with a Nissan warranty, not sure if I want to take to work tomorrow or to a local dealer, not sure if they would take car quickly to have a look, though bought the car from a Nissan dealer outside London. Or give the car back to the dealer where I bought it from, though still less than 6 months old, fight for a refund.
Taking it to dealer for repair or refund?

I think a refund is unlikely to be honest. The dealer has to have a chance to fix the car first - so you'd have to take it back to the supplying dealer and let them attend to it. Only if it was still unsatisfactory AND within the six months could you then reject it for a full refund.
