tried putting wipers in park but no go

I have tried putting my wipers in park so I can clean my car without the risk of damaging paint work I pulled the wiper stick towards me twice but nothing happened am I missing something

If you first don't succeed then try again and if necessary again - it works!

Dont pull lever towards you... lift it to upper position as far as it will go twice

This, has to be done with ignition on and within 0.5 seconds!!

We tried for ages to do it and in the end the Service Manager of Glyn Hopkins showed us how. You have to flick the lever twice really quickly (we were too slow) but we've got it now. Wiper damage now repaired so car should be as good as new.

Yep, 0.5 seconds and that's it!

Thanks for that , I could not get it to work when I washed the car this weekend. Just tried your hyper fast way and it works, great stuff
