My wife’s Hyundai is now over three years old and the stop start has worked perfectly on it since day one, as has everything else. She’s on her sixth Hyundai now, never had a thing wrong with any of them, and a proper five year warranty.
Back to the QQ, I actually like mine, to date, touch wood it’s been pretty much trouble free.
I love the electronic handbrake and hill hold.
I don’t think stop start is a lot of good to a Diesel engine, and I consciously switch it off each time I start the engine, takes all of one second. Auto lights are fine, but I prefer to use manually, auto wipers work very well for me.
It’s nice to drive, very nippy for a 1.5 diesel and quiet.
My worries after reading so much on this forum is future electrics problems, I dare say you could say that about most modern cars though, but I doubt I’ll keep it after the warranty runs out in July 2020.
One small annoyance is not being able to make a phone call hands free, even though the buttons on the steering wheel, I can receive ok, but have to use the touch display to ring out.
Oh and I’d like a proper spare wheel, next time instead of a tin of gunk, I’ll probably go back to Hyundai for a Tucson next time, at least they give you five proper alloy wheels and five years warranty, and the dealer to date has been brilliant.

Sat nav mapping! It’s absolutely diabolical compared to TomTom. A simple trip from my home to my local city on fastest route is 6 miles longer than on TT. That’s just one example. The routing protocol is crap. Also the the maps are at the very least 1 year out of date. Why can we not have FREE quartely downloadable updates the same as TT?
