Hi Folks,
Noticed that one of the rear passenger door does not open from inside. I checked the child safety locks, and they're not locked.
Any idea what could be wrong. I have a 2015 1.2 CVT model.
Thanks.
Can't open passenger door from inside!

I had that on my 2009 J10. I had to open from the outside then remove the 3 screws on the lock assembly on the edge of the door, oil everything i could and use a screw driver to free up the lock. Google this, there were topics online when i searched back then.
Also flip the childlock switch back and forth a few times.

Had booked with a Nissan dealer for diagnostic but few days later went for a carwash, and then discovered the door opens.
The dealer even checked it before booking me in for the diagnostic. Now it seems to be OK.
Now have to cancel the visit. Not sure what had happened, probably dirt/dust got in the way.

Sounds like it needs oiling inside. See my previous post above. It's easy to do.
