help! 1.2 Petrol engine issues which year does it effect

Hi Guys

Looking for help!

thinking about looking for a qashqai, 1.2 cvt auto, reading that there is alot of oil loss issues with with the 1.2 engine.

Which year of car was affected by this problem, how can i tell which cars are effected.

Their is a post that tell you the vin numbers to witch it effects. Think the years are 2014 / early 2016. Don't quote me thou.

And some after those dates. Based on information on this forum alone, I would avoid any 1.2 model.

I have read (on here) about problems with the cvt gearbox too

Ouch!!! I didn't choose too well there then with my 1.2 petrol CVT
Looks like a compulsory change when warranty expires!
