I've got a cracked windscreen on my 2016 Tekna, and it appears that the ADAS windscreen sensors will require re-calibration after the new screen is fitted.

I've not had a quote yet, but there are some horror stories on the net as to how much this could cost.

I am waiting for my insurance company to tell me if this extra cost is covered by normal windscreen cover, has anyone gone through this process yet, and can advise on costs?

Apparently a while ago only Nissan could do this, but now some of the main windscreen companies can carry out the re-calibration.

I went through this a year ago (Autoglass) and only had to pay the insurance excess. The recalibration costs etc were all covered.

Thanks for the reply, I felt sure insurance companies would have some get-out clause!

Hopefully my company will be the same.
