Well today sucked, got rear ended by a car shunted by another. From a near stop, we were suddenly smashed forward. Everyone (so & 2 kids) fine, car crumple zones did their job.
However its rear bumper and the crash bar are quite badly damaged. I peeked under the bumper and crash bar supports are completely crumpled into themselves.
It'll be off to the repair centre tomorrow, however I'm quite worried they might write it off. Car's 'value' is now only around 8-9k.
Anyone here experienced rear end collisions and the follow up repairs? Anything we should be careful about?
