Hello everyone,

Been looking for roof rails for my qashqai as wanting to put a roof box on to take my kids camping but no matter how long i spend looking through the internet i cant find the solution. I've phoned quite a few companies that specialize in this but none seem to be able to help me, I've called nissan direct and they said they don't have anything so i'm wondering if it can be done. There is a video on YouTube by 4x4 accessories and tyres showing a roof system being fitted to a panoramic roof and those fitting would work on mine but when i contacted them i was told that was an old video and they no longer stock this type of rack/bars. There are 2 plastic strips that run from front to back on the roof at either side of the glass which can be removed and used to get a fixing for the bars so if someone could point me in the right direction it would be very much appreciated.

Are they big enough for the +2?

hi stuart, I too am looking to fit roof rails on my 2015 dci acenta + , as with yours there is the two rubber strips running down the length of the roof, on mine if you pull the rubber strip away, which is just a push fit there are four snap bolts, two at the front, 2 at the rear, on each side which I presume is the fitting for roof rails I am trying to find out if these are threaded through the roof or just go through it and bolt from underneath, I see the genuine Nissan roof rails have nuts underneath which leads me to believe that the roof lining may have to be dropped, mine also has a pan roof. I am still trying to find out from various sources if there is an easier way of fitting roof rails. have you got any further with your enquiry.

And they fit perfect. The rubber seal that goes round door opening is pulled back and there is a threaded screw hole that these screw onto, very easy to fit.

I’m now selling these roof rails should anyone want them? Wife’s is trading in qashqui as wants a smaller car so they are no longer needed. Cost £280 and will sell for £200 including postage.
