Morning all...today I noticed that the engine coolant level was about 10mm above the minimum level indicator ( engine up to temp on level ground ) which surprised me a little, I would have expected it to be fuller than that seeing as though the car only has 700 miles on the clock.

Looking at the tank I'm struggling to see where the Maximum level indicator is, so can anyone help with this please as I'm going to fill it up once I get some coolant this morning.

Thanks

Weasel, these are the facts for our “Older” QQ J11A and I am sure that Nissan would not have changed this part for the new J11B model. Take a look ours has always been to this Max “Marked” Level - Dave :D

The manual makes it look like the Max level is around the seal in the middle.

Thanks very much, Dave and Pandjh...your help is appreciated.

I've just had a quick look and the MAX Level seems to be right on the point where the two halves of the tank are sealed together, so will top up if needed in the morning, but there only seems to be a 10mm difference between the MIN and Max levels so maybe I was worrying over nothing.

Anyhoo, I called in at the local Main Dealers and bought some genuine coolant concentrate so will use that.

Thanks once again guys.
