Hi guys...the other day I found 4 bolts missing from the engine undertray, so I tried to book the car in at my local Nissan Dealer ( Harrats Pontefract ) but they would not take the car in to replace the bolts under the warranty.
The reason they gave was because I did not buy the car from them, and that I should take the car back to where I bought it from ( Pentagon Barnsley )
I was under the impression that I could take my car to any Nissan garage to have warranty work done, is this not the case?, because if I broke down the RAC would take the car to the nearest Nissan garage.
Any thoughts on this would be appreciated before I give Nissan UK a call in the morning.
Main Dealer refused to do warranty work.

They should be reported to Nissan HO. I'll send you a PM with e mail address of the Director's office
at their Maple Cross HQ.

Well you actually BUY the car from the dealer. But would expect warranty work to be honoured at any dealer.
The Nissan dealer in Gloucester I used to use was the worst garage I've dealt with in respect of getting warranty work done - you just had to keep pressing them. And I bought the car there!
