Qashqai: Which Mats Are The Best?

Hi All,

I am just about to order a new QQ Tekna+ (Body Coloured bumpers) from a car broker in Gun Metallic and cannot wait to join the QQ owners club.

Could someone advise which mats are the best thick mats (Luxury or Velour) and also what does it mean by Bose option mats?

Luxury KE755-HV081 For Bose option KE755-HV082

Velour KE755-HV001

I am also interested in a removable tow bar with 3-4 bike rack - any recommendations for tow bar installer companies in UK and rack manufacturer / type?

Hi and welcome to the Forum. What I believe is that the differences on the Luxury / Velour is the quality of the Carpet. I can remember having carpets in 2014 that did wear out quickly and then I changed to the better quality and still have them.
But both these are Luxury / Velour it is just the form. Do not forget you have the Tekna + and there is a difference in carpets hence the mention of Bose. I do not know the difference as still have the J11A type QQ but there must be some floor form change, perhaps one of the members with the J11B can help.
Regarding the Tow Bar as Gloucester mentioned it would be ideal to get this fitted when you get the car but if this is a Car Broker they might not be so interested in Technical Changes. I did discuss this with our Nissan Dealer here a few years back and Nissan do have the options at a price but the plus is the Guarantee & normally the Dealer knowledge. But as with all things in life people have different preferences regarding design & price so in the end it is a personal decision. Maybe not what you are after, but the deep rubber mats for the QQ are very good, I have them in mine, and they are much more practical with the winter months approaching, plus they look good too.

What Weasel has mentioned is a good idea although they are not pretty but functionable. We have had a set for the winter months (6 months / year) since 2014 and are still using them - Dave

When we had the Juke we bought some Rubber 3D Cut Carpets LHD from Weathertech which are excellent as they fit in every corner due to the 3D Technique used but expensive. It looks like they do not manufacture these for the QQ at present, but they do offer them for the Rogue Sport (US) but LHD. This is purely for information :

I too looked at the Weathertech mats, but couldn't justify the £156 price tag, so went with the Nissan ones which are very good for a third of the price.

My dealer gave me the mats with the car.
They’re the ones in the first picture @ £74.32.
Fit well and catch the rubbish falling off your shoes.

Push your salesman/woman for freebies
