Hi Paul, are you sure this is also for the QQ and not only for the Rogue which is the US version of the X-Trail. The Rogue Sport US is similiar to the QQ EU but built in Japan and does have other differences like for instance Motors. Website also came up as “Unsafe”. I could be wrong ! - Dave

It certainly appears to be for the QQ , I was under the impression that the US Rogue sport is a renamed QQ .. the info certainly seems the same.. I wonder what % of parts in the xtrail and QQ are the same .. Hmm

It's not for the Qashqai - as DaveBerlin has pointed out the Rogue in America is the X-Trail in Britain. The more recently introduced Rogue Sport is the Qashqai equivalent.

Whilst there are similarities between the two models they are distinct different models. Hence what you might find there may be relevant to a Qashqai but it won't necessarily be since it might be model specific.

For example:

Folding the 3rd row seats (If so equipped)

To fold the 3rd row seats flat for maximum cargo capacity:

Make sure the head restraints/headrests are all the way down.
Pull the strap 1 to release the seat.
Once released, push the seatback forward 2 .

To return the 3rd row seats to a seating position:

Use the pull straps 1 to raise each seatback.

Pull back until the seatback latches into position. Make sure to properly raise each seatback to an upright and secured position.

I've yet to see a Qashqai with a third row of seats...

EDIT following reading responses below - for clarity that should have said "I've yet to see a J11 Qashqai with a third row of seats..."

Hi Gloucester.. I have seen such a beast .. couldn't believe my eyes .. It was parked at a regional railway station.. the badge said qashqai +2
they only made them for a short period 3 or 4 years

Gloucester, I know you like facts and I have seen the QQ +2 which is Big but not really a Beast when you compare it to what is available in the US. Here are a few pics which hopefully you will see the difference - Dave
