Hi there,
I've had a couple of instances where my car has just slowed down sharply while accelerating.. twice it happened when in 3rd gear, it wasnt anything major I just fobbed it off but today I was going from 4th to 5th and when I was driving the car slowed dramatically like I had slammed on my brakes and it made me jerk forward quite aggressively before it went back to normal.
I intend on going to my mechanic on Monday as I'm working the next couple of days but could anyone shine some light on what might be the problem?
It's a 2012 n-tec 1.5 diesel and I got it service only 2 months ago. Any advice greatly appreciated
Thank you in advance

Welcome to this forum.
Sorry I don't know why that might be happening. Exhaust? Fuel delivery?

My guess would be a blocked fuel filter. Too much draw on the fuel may not be able to get past the blockage.
