Is it possible to empty and then clean the screen wash reservoir before refilling? Tried googling it and it only returns results on how to fill it. I've also searched the forum without much luck.

Usually needs removal to clean out properly and probably as with most cars it's a nightmare to do so.

Maybe try pushing hoepipe to bottom of reservoir and let it flush out until it runs clear

I've not had to clean one out - I think so long as you use enough decent quality additive then all's fine.

If you REALLY want to attempt it, here are the instructions for either getting the tank out or for removing the washer pump! There's no drain tap.

I suppose if you could remove the pump then that might be a way of flushing it out insitu:

Thanks Gloucester,
Think I will give brain surgery a try instead, think that might be easier. Was kind of hoping there was just a plug to pull and drain it. Why does everything have to be so difficult. All i wanted to do was top up the reservoir but didn't want to mix two different types of screen wash.

In that case flushing out with a hose - not forgetting to actuate it in the changeover period to clear the pipes - should be fine?

You could alway empty the washer bottle over the windscreen using normal method, keep filling with water until nice and clear, refill with new stuff. That will clean out your jest as well. Long winded I know, but nice clean washer and jets after. :D :D
