I have a new April 2019 QQ which has gone back to a Nissan dealer on four occasions now, as the boot fails to open.
Nissan cannot find the fault causing it, I pick it up and a few days later the problem occurs again.
I have just retrieved it again in working condition, having been at Nissan workshops for two days.
I just cannot rely on it from day to .day
Anybody else had this problem.

Fails to open in what way ? Unlocking from the fob or by pressing the buttons on the tailgate ?

It will not open from the fob or the rubber thing under the boot lid. All the other doors open with no problems.

That is either a wiring problem or the control system for the doors.

Appears the Nissan dealer is a bit thick. Either find another dealer or complain to Nissan direct.

I don't mean to patronise, but are you pressing the buttons on the tailgate in the correct order ?

I thank you all for your comments.
This is the second QQI have owned and understand how the keyless doors operate.
The dealership has been good but cannot understand why it keeps happening. They are in touch with Nissan.
At the moment it is working correctly, but will it continue, bearing in mind it has failed four times before!

This is my first time here and I just want to say that I’m very happy to be here and to share my opinion.
Thanks!
