Isn't the front facing camera near the grille badge? Or is there another camera on the screen?

Still wishing they'd call it the Nissan Rogue.

Sorry to hear of your screen damage, lorry drivers are an absolute nuisance, two weeks ago following an aggregates lorry a stone the size of a bread roll fell off the back hit the front of our Octavia and caused a dint the size of a 10p piece which will need professional repair. I am so glad we were not in the new QQ.As I followed him more rubble fell off so I pulled back, I contacted the company later in the day to complain not only about stuff falling off, but the speed the driver was doing in a 40mph limit and they said would investigate, as you would expect I have still heard nothing

For stuff like that Jon you should call the police.Once the driver accepts the "load" he is liable / prosecutable and to be honest if he's speeding he's a prawn as his tacho will show up the speed he was travelling and if you have a dated photograph he'll more than likely lose his job.The company most likely won't do anything without that sadly.
Nissan no more...
If you want to go through insurance please call your insurance company first. In some cases, they have selected windscreen repair companies and wont entertain dealing with anybody else so you could end up paying the full amount rather than just the excess. Chances are if you arrange for Nissan to do it, chances are they would get a 3rd party involved rather than do it themselves (To be confirmed though). The windscreen will be made *for* Nissan rather than by, so the replacement should be of similar quality. If you prefer to let the dealer deal with it, ask the ins co before you arrange it. Also, why are you all quick to jump at blaming the lorry driver for an unsecure load? It could be that the stone has flicked up from the wheel, which could happen from any car. There was no mention in the OP's post that an unsecure load was even to blame, in fact it could easily be a lorry transporting a load of washing machines for all you know!
