Nissan Qashqai Aircon is not getting off

I have Nissan Qahqai 2014 plate. It was working fine and parked in garage. when i started this morning, the aircon is automatically on as I start the car. But I am unable to stop aircon. I tried hard with many buttons but aircon is not stpooing at all.

Any suggestion what could be the issue ?

Welcome to the Forum, not sure what QQ you have. Just as a start take a look at this attachment. Have you tried turning the system “OFF”, but our Air Cons come on automatically as left when the QQ is turned off - Dave

You mean when you press the A/C button nothing happens? The light stays on?

Do all the other buttons function as expected?

I observed very carefully. It seems air blower is not getting off rather than AC. Sorry for confusion. I observed that blower starts as soon as motor switched on and it is not getting off.

The Model is 2014 NISSAN QASHQAI ACENTA PREMIUM DCI 2WD, 1598CC Diesel, 5DR, Automatic.

Any help is sincerely appreciated.

Isn't it the case that when Auto is selected the system will be in either Manual or Auto control? If in Manual the fan should be controllable? Is it an Auto or Manual or both problem...does the fan always run in either mode?

So pressing ON.OFF does nothing? The display should turn off.

If you are trying to turn the fan completely off, I don't think it's possible. 1 is the lowest setting. The air conditioning can be turned on/off with the A/C push button, this will only disengage the air con compressor, the afn will still run as said.

I think I am not able to communicate real problem. Sorry from my side. I am trying to articulate in below text:-

As soon as I SWITCH ON the car, air blower start with full speed. I can feel the air is blowing to my feet with full speed.

I tried many times SWITCH ON and OFF the car and I observed that air blower is starting first before engine start (It seems). When I push air conditioner ON, I can hear the sound of toggling (like switching) and the air-blower speed reduced & air conditioner start. The moment I push OFF button of air conditioner, Air blower starts with full speed.

I am unable to control air blower with any button. It is running continuously uninterrupted.

This is the real articulation of issue. Kindly suggest.

We'll get to the bottom of it...don't worry about language. It sounds like the fan/blower is not being controlled correctly

With ignition only (no engine start) power will be available to the car so the fan/blower could run. However, the fan up/down button should control the speed over about 7 steps (lo to hi).

Does the fan button increase and decrease the fan speed at any time like aircon on and aircon off also when AUTO is selected and deselected?

I have been told "blower resistor" may be faulty as fan speed is not increasing or decreasing. and there is no way to stop it.

Should I get it fixed by a mechanic or visit bigger shop like Nissan dealers?
