Engine trouble

Hi, I'm new to this but hopefully someone can help me please.
I own a 2010 J10 Nissan Qashqai and recently been having trouble with it starting in the mornings but eventually it starts.
There are no codes coming up and I've had the coolant temperature sensor change but still not good.
Been thinking could it be the fuel filter but that's a wild guess?
Hopefully someone can help me out on this issue

Cheers
Tim

Why do you find it necessary to post 3 times about the same issue??
Suggest you delete 2 of them.

Additionally if want response, your signature needs to specify model year/ type/engine etc.

Welcome to this forum.

As Gel says more information would be useful

If it's a diesel, could be one or more of the glow plugs gone, could be air getting into the system, both would give similar symptoms.

OK - so it's a 1598cc petrol more commonly known as a 1.6.

Is it turning over but not firing or not turning over?

When was it last serviced? Spark plug leads?

Go through the usual checks, take out spark plugs and check them, then see if you are getting a spark when trying to start, check petrol is getting through to the cylinders, usually smell of petrol would confirm that. If you are not getting a spark, as above, check leads, best of luck sorting it.

The car is turning over but not firing. It is very hit and miss some days its OK other days it takes several times before it starts. Also if you drive it will happen when you pop to the shops. Was serviced before we got it about 18 months ago.

A car should be serviced every 12 months - and it depends what was done at that service - might need new spark plugs for instance.
