Hi guys...I've been looking online for some genuine Nissan AdBlue, but can't find any adverts / stockists, so I guess this is going to be a Main Dealer job.
In Nissan's genuine fluids PDF it isn't even listed, so other than Main Dealer does anyone know of where I can get some in the UK.
Thanks
Weasel

Nothing at all, I have some Carlube AdBlue in the boot ready for when I need it.
The reason I wanted some genuine Nissan AdBlue, is that I was advised by my local Main Dealer parts guy ( whom I trust as he is a pal of mine ) that most of the readily available AdBlue varies greatly in quality, and considering there is very little in it price wise, I would be better off using the genuine stuff.

It will be intresting to find out who makes the adblue with the nissan logo on the bottle. I'm sure your main dealer parts friend will be able to get that for you no problem. And don't forget his staff discount

Andy, correct but it could well be down to piece of mind. Weasel has obviously discussed this with his Nissan friend and he seems to be more happy using a recommended Nissan Product. Yes there are cheaper options everywhere and theoretically the Spec should be the same as set by the VDA - Dave
Here is the Halfords cost which is way cheaper :

Weasel - you do know that you should also be using Nissan branded diesel! Costs £5 per litre but worth every penny!

Wikipedia:
Diesel exhaust fluid (DEF; also known as AUS 32 and marketed as BlueHDI, BlueTec, FLENDS or AdBlue) is a liquid used to reduce the amount of air pollution created by a diesel engine. Specifically, DEF is an aqueous urea solution made with 32.5% urea and 67.5% deionized water. DEF is consumed in selective catalytic reduction (SCR) that lowers nitrogen oxides (NO
x) concentration in the diesel exhaust emissions from a diesel engine.
Seriously I can't imagine Nissan branded AdBlue is any different from anyone else's

What is AdBlue made of?
AdBlue is a non-toxic liquid that’s colourless in appearance and is essentially a solution of water and urea – a substance found in urine. However, in AdBlue, the urea is exceptionally pure and is of a higher grade than that used in cosmetics, glue or fertilisers. Similarly, the water is demineralised, which is far cleaner than water from the tap.
When buying AdBlue, you should check it meets the correct specification, so look for the ISO 22241 number on the packaging. This may also appear as ISO-22241-1, ISO-22241-2, ISO-22241-3. This will ensure the AdBlue doesn’t damage your car’s SCR catalyst – a costly repair. Assuming your AdBlue meets these specifications, one brand of AdBlue should be pretty much the same as another, in the same way that diesel fuel is fundamentally the same from one retailer to another.
