I've just replaced the rear lights to LEDs and have just noticed that the switches aren't mirrored. Eg the one on the left, you press the bottom to turn it on whereas the one on the right you press the top. It's clearly the same part used for both sides but it kind of annoys me.
I'd prefer if they were both switched on in the same direction. Ie both down.
Could anyone else chime in if theirs is the same?

Just checked our QQ J11B as we had our Rear LED’s Installed last week by our Nissan Dealer (FOC). Your comment is correct Left = Down / Right = Up why god knows, took a couple of quick pics - Dave 
We installed the same LED’s from our old QQ into the New : 3SMD-5050-31MM-White if this helps

I got a qashqai set from AliExpress. The rear LEDs are 30mm festoon type

don't have this problem in my 17 plate qashqai but wondered it it was to help you select the right switch without looking, ie driving, can you not remove one of the light units, remove the switch and just turn it around?
