Nissan service you also enjoy a free year's breakdown recovery.
What is included with the Free RAC membership? Breakdown and Recovery would it also cover At-Home?? When I bought the QQ I had free RAC cover but no real details from the Nissan dealer; and as I'm already a full member with the RAC for the last 35, years. I was wondering whether to keep it going? or is the free membership adequate enough, so that I no-longer need to pay for my membership every year? I will be getting the car serviced at Nissan Dealership next year.
Your thoughts ?
Thanks

The cover includes everything including European as far as I am aware. Certainly includes home call as I have used them.

Ususally manufacturer supplier cover is for the VEHICLE not the PERSON. So that might have a bearing.

I have personal cover with my RAC membership; it covers me in any vehicle; is it worth keeping at about £90 a year? or probably not if I'm getting the QQ covered when having it serviced. We save by getting the car serviced with Nissan Dealerships, especially with the free RAC cover. I'll probably let my personal RAC membership lapse in October (not renew it)
Thanks for the link and replies
Appreciated

Sounds a good deal I think I would be tempted however depends how long you intend to use maindealer. And how long you intend to keep car.I know you have only just purchased your qq and have reasons to stay with a main dealer.I was with RAC for many years but changed to green flag there is no limit to call ours with them and cover at home breakdowns are included in price only down side they will not cover vehicles over a certain age.

Green Flag are also a lot cheaper; I'd considered them. But as I intend having the car Serviced at Nissan Dealers, the free RAC seems like a good deal.

Silly question, I'm sure I know what the answer is but.. does the Roadside Assistance etc only kick in AFTER it's been serviced?

I noticed that Nissan do a Welcome Service for £30 which includes free RAC cover but we are 130 miles and a boat journey away from our nearest dealer and would like cover to cover us from the time we leave the island.
