Anyone have any suggestions for keeping the battery charged whilst we're shut away?

My car's in an underground carpark so that makes matters a little trickier

If you have a FIAMM battery installed and RAC cover you will have to rely on that recovery procedure. Maybe a few hours with the panic going on now.

Other than that if you need to charge it, it needs to be pulled and placed on charge somewhere.

However, the FIAMM battery is the main threat IMO.

I presume that you will be driving out to your regular weekly shop for essentials ?
Can you go "the long way" ?
(e.g. make it a 10 mile round trip)

I have read somewhere if leaving the car for a month to disconnect the neutral terminal on the battery to stop it draining maybe someone else could confirm this for you.

You can do that and a quality battery should not loose charge over 3 or 4 months...perhaps more. A fall below approx 12.5v indicates trouble ahead and needs to be trickle charged. Charging when battery fully connected to this type of car is certainly not recommended.

If its the FIAMM battery we suffer then no matter what...its going to self discharge fairly quickly. Call RAC when it happens.

I have left my car in the past for 3 weeks and it started no problem, I would suggest with a good battery it should easily last 4-6 weeks without problem.

We're one week into the two week self isolation due to possible third party contact. Got enough food to last so we're not going anywhere just to be safe

OK, that’s slightly different from the scenario I imagined.
Stay safe and good luck

I saw on twitter a link that was posted by my local Nissan dealer from the AA:

Basic suggestion is to run for 15 minutes once a week and move the car back and forth a few times to prevent brakes seizing.
