Car struggling to turn over

Hi i have recently changed my starter motor because i thought that was the problem but its still the same i turn the key and the car struggles to turn over. I have tried jump starting it but still the same its a diesel 1.5dci 08 plate qashqai any suggestions much appreciated as i have rang garages and they are not willing to come and get the car because of the situation i am a key worker and need the car for work..
