Hi!
I live in Germany, but my Qashqai J11 2019 comes from Romania (EU re-import), without DAB, only FM and AM. I recently installed a new sound system and then I noticed another Fakra connection on the Nissan Connect next to the Fakra FM port.
In the service menu I find the hint that a DAB software is installed on the Connect, so the radio must support this? However, only FM and AM appear in the "Service Radio" item. During my research with article number + type designation I at least came across a picture on which this second Fakra connection was wired.
I ordered a dab antenna and attached it, unfortunately without success. I reset the radio to factory defaults, looked again in the hidden menu and made a software update to version 0821, because I probably didn't have the latest firmware installed. Unfortunately still got only FM and AM. It was a DAB antenna without 12 volts.
Have any of you tried anything in that direction yourself and do you know something? I'll put up some pictures for you.

Mercedes call it a star machine, depending on car manufacture they have different names. It not only diagnoses faults and can also reprogram to make things work to the various international settings.
Past cars Mercedes B Class, S Class, E Class Estate, E Class Coupe, G Wagen, 260E interspersed with Peugeot 406 and Audi Coupe.
