I need some help please.
I am a 2019 Qashqai ST-L owner. (Australia/NZ) model. The ST-L is the model just under the top model here in NZ. The unbelievable fact is that rear fog lamps are not part of the spec here or on any other manufacturers vehicles.
Despite being just as foggy here as in the UK it is astounding that rear fog lights are not a requirement here.
I want to fit rear genuine Qashqai fog light units to mine but i can't remember where they are installed on the UK spec models. Are they part of the main light cluster or are they fitted lower on the bumper unit?
A photo would be greatly appreciated, thank you in anticipation of help for this problem.
Rear fog light.

That is surprising; hope you're surviving those earthquakes.
The rear fogs are just incorporated into rear lights cluster.
Hopefully, there may already be some unused wiring on your model you could use;
if you look at back of yours inside the boot, is there an unused "bulb holder" lurking there.
Triggered of course from switch above driver's right knee, which presumably is blanked off for you.

Mogman, firstly welcome to the Forum, it appears to be getting very International now as I think you are the 4th from AU in a week. Just to follow up on what Gel has posted, here is a pic of our late 2019 J11B so it should be similiar to yours. The attachment to give you a guide is from the older J11A model (our J11B Manual is in German) but it appears the same and might help - Dave

I agree about updating the NZ vehicle regs but then everything else here is decades behind Europe so it is no surprise. It is also a surprise that only a 2.0 litre petrol version is offered, the kiwis and Australians do like anything less than 2.0L despite there being some superb smaller engines now. They behave here regarding their vehicles as if they are a oil rich middle eastern state.
