I have a Qashqai 2020 1.3 DIGT 2020 and I'm trying to figure out of it's possible to buy speed camera warnings for the built in sat nav. I did go on to a 3rd party website and bought a package that you are supposed to import in to the sat nav using a USB stick, but there doesn't seem to be a way to import POI's on the system in my car

Based on layout I believe the system in mine is 'Nissan Connect 3 device (MY2019)'

Does anyone know if it's possible to import POI's on this device or even if it's possible to buy speed camera warnings directly from Nissan? I'm in the UK if that helps

Thanks

POIs cannot be imported, your best bet is to use Waze via CarPlay or Android Auto.

Thanks for the response, can waze/android auto be linked up to the sat nav in the Qashqai so the warnings will come up on the display or will they only come through to my phone?

Thanks

If your unit is one that supports CarPlay or AA then it'll all display on the Connect unit itself. Ie Waze will be shown in place of the Nissan satnav display.

That's great thanks, I've set it up. However I don't think it's giving me any warning sound when near speed cameras, it's flashing up a green box notifying me of them being close, but I'm not getting any warning sound. Do you know if it's possible for waze to do this?

Thanks

Not au fait with latest Connect, but in settings, look for something similar to attached,
and ensure audible warning setting is on.

Welcome to this forum. I use Waze but have found it hard to configure - e.g. default zoom level.

The answer is to drive at the speed limit! :)

The Waze Alerts and Reports section has an entry for Speedometer where you can tell it to play an alert if you drive faster than the level over the speed limit you set it to. I rely on other drivers to flag the mobile sites when they are operating. They do this by flagging them as places where the Police have been seen.

Best and cheapest solution is just stick to the legal speed limit.... Not rocket science.

If you download TomTom Amigo from Google Play this should give you the necessary warnings
