QQ Diesel Knock

Just got QQ back from Nissan garage after they had to fit new clock spring. Whilst they had it they found that the car had not had an engine management update so they installed it at no cost as it was a Nissan recall, but now I have a very loud diesel knock, it is a 1.5 12 plate with 108000 miles.
