Head unit not working

Hi Chaps mumsie gave me a qashqai for my 18th birthday it's a 1.2 dig t in a 64 plate I put in a android head unit and it doesn't turn on .I put back in the original that doesn't turn on also I checked the fuse it look ok can anyone help me to identify the problem I need to fix it my mummy finda out I broke it only had the car a week .please chaps help me

The Sat/Nav/Audio system (box) is powered by the BCM unit (Body Control Module). I know nothing of that unit internally. I guess its a fuse related somewhere within. Perhaps someone else here knows? Has anything else stopped working?
Can you supply 12v to the Android Unit off the car and see (test) if it turns on.. fuse the line if you can. I suppose you have the wiring info for the Android Unit?
