Speed cameras

Hi just got a new car and can’t get speed cameras on this model like the old one I had. Can I get them on to the system some how

What speed cameras did you use? Do you have Android Auto installed?

Usually this subject comes down to using Waze with your head unit.

I was told to use RADARBOT app but it makes my phone overheat badly will the Waze app do the same ? and I have found that when I plug in my phone the sound for SAT Nav cuts out entirly, I have only had the car 9 days so still fidling and learning about it

I put Waze on the car play and it runs in the background and tells me about speed cameras so that’s how I get round it now

Golfdogblack, ooh help I have a 9 day old new 70plate QQ+ , Im 70 yrs old and a bit of a technophobe so is the Waze on the phone and plugged in to the main screen or does it need something else? Car play is an Apple software what is the Android app to do the same as Apple? I love my iMac but cant plug it into the car LOL

I do believe Android works too. I put car play on then select waze. I drive off then I put the normal map on as I prefer it and waze just tells me if there is traffic roadworks or speed cameras ahead

So just to be clear is the phone plugged into the USB socket or just connected by BlueTooth? With Data on or off? Told you I was a technophobe I was soo used to my old QQ with built-in camera warnings!
