Qashqai Model: Mk.2 Qashqai Facelift - J11b (2017–2021)

Post by Wha »

Hello... this is my first post after buying a 2018 Qashqai last week (Previuosly X Trail).
On the sat nav am I capable of receiving speed camara alerts and how do I update maps. Do I need Nissan connect. which created another issue as the Nissan Connect app doesn't recognise my VIN number is there a way to resolve this or do I need to contact customer service.

Many thanksfor your help...

Firstly welcome...

Speed Camera Alerts are NOT possible I believe...

Nissan Connect has been discontinued, I believe from an Internet Search - as I've tried the same on my 2019 QQ

Updating Maps would depend on if you have a SD card slot? If so, then a new SD card is the way
If not, you can either update by USB or via Wi-Fi

Go seize the day

Welcome to this forum.

Do you have the earlier infotainment WITH an SD card or the later one WITHOUT it.

They' fundamentally different.
