The wait is over! , what a beauty !

Went on a 40 mile round trip to my daughters, a mix of motorway, town and a few country roads. The stop/start cut in several times when I pulled up at red lights but as with others here I am not sure that I like the feature. Oddly a couple of times I heard a beep from somewhere whilst driving but didn't notice any warning messages displayed. Not sure if it could have been the lane departure, but both times it occurred I was not on the motorway/dual carriageway. Finding the keyless start a bit odd as there is only one "ignition position" and so navigating the settings etc. seems to need the engine running.

We're going to Somerset in a week or so and so really looking forward to trying everything out on a long run

It takes some time to get used to the bleeps the blind spot and lane change are the most frequent.

The QQ is a comfortable car to drive over long distances.

Also not sure if I have set the POI / Speed Camera warning on, will have to check in the morning. One odd thing I found with the sat nav is the road blockage/detour warning which popped up. Seemed to only give the option to accept or view info with no simple ignore option unlike the Toyota system I had previously.

You can get to what'd be ignition position 1, by pressing stop/start and NOT depressing clutch.

Must be something in the settings.
Mine says "the road conditions have changed" or something like that and then offers an alternative route with the option to accept or reject.
When my saleswoman set my car up I asked for absolutely everything on "automatic" so it's worth browsing the settings and searching the handbook.

Gel: The delivery guy for Lex Leasing wasn't much help when he dropped off the car . I see now about the ignition 1 position and have been playing a little with the settings - at least I now have a blue car at start up

MikeGC: That's reassuring as I would expect it to offer accept or reject. I'll have to spend some time with the Sat Nav portion of the manual and get to grips with it
