Space saver and subwoofer in Tecna+

New member. One dealer tells me that a space saver cannot be fitted in a Tecna+ because of the subwoofer and another says it can. Waiting to take delivery of 1.2 Tecna+. Has any one done this?

I have the 1,2 Tekna, J11A and the Bose speaker is under the floor of the boot where the spare wheel would normally go. Nissan literature does state that the space saver spare wheel is NOT an option for the Tekna and Tekna+. Did not ask the dealer if he could fit it somewhere else.

It can be done. I first moved the sub woofer to one side and installed the space saver spare in the correct position. The sub woofer then sits in the well of the wheel and the fitted jack etc in correct positions. Upon refitting the boot floor soft cover and the hard floor boards everything is AOK. It does mean that you loose a couple of inches between cover and boards but this does not affect me as I use a boot liner and do not often want to use the lost space.
