[/youtube]Hi everyone,
I'm new to this forum. Very interesting stuff on here 😊
I bght a qashqai a month ago - love it to bits. One thing though - the DAB radio keeps cutting out every few seconds. So frustrating. Also occasionally the whole system resets itself 😕 Anyone else have this problem ?

Dawi

Dawi, try using „Search“ and just look enter „DAB“ there are too many subjects on this to mention, just a long read - Dave

HI Dawi. Did you get his sorted? Mine has started doing the same. It’s a 2015 model.
Any help gratefully received.

Hi all,

I tried the update in this thread viewtopic.php?f=29&t=5747 and it seemed to improve it for me, still cuts out occasionally but not as much as previously.

Please do read the whole thread and follow the instructions carefully though just to be on the safe side.

I have a 2015 Qashqai with the same problem. First it went in for a program update, this was unsucessful. I had not even got home and the whole thing reset itself. The 2nd time it went in I had to leave my car with them, Nissan agreed there was a problem and I would be looking at a replacement bill of 3000. After being told that Nissan would replace it foc charge, I was then told that I would have to pay 1500.00 towards it. Nissan eventually agreed to take the head unit away for repair foc. Three weeks later the 'repaired' unit was returned. Worked all the way home but later that day it lost signal three times, lost the sound from the CD and today it lost its station 6 times. Not happy with having to pay for a new head unit even if my car is out of warranty. Any ideas where I go from here.

i contacted Nissan Customer Service ref to the fault we and many other Qashqai Owners have, do not waste your Money by changing the unit as it will not solve the Problem, the connect 3 unit was designed by Clarion they are aware of the issues and are trying to resolve them so we are in there Hands so speak as soon as i get a reply i will post .
