Hi all

Just bought a 2007 2.0DCi Automatic. Fantastic car if you ignore the fuel economy!
Only problem is how do you lock from the inside?? I don’t have the super lock button!

So how do I stop people opening my door in traffic?? You can’t lock the car with the key from inside, no push locks inside and nothing on the handles?

Thoughts?

Cheers

John

Ok so having another look at this

If I buy the switch have I actually got the wiring I need for it?

I’ve never known of a car that can’t be locked from the inside?!!

Nothing to do with 2wd-4wd selector switch.
Should be a switch with padlock or similar on, driver's door switch panel, near window switches etc.
Have you looked in your manual rather than jump onto forum?

Altho mine is a late 13 plate facelift 4wd , my switch for locking is indeed where you have a blanking cover and either side is where the heated seat switches would be. The bottom has a picture of a door with a key on it, the upwards motion has a picture of a padlock ;)

Yep obviously which led me to the blanked switch behind the 2wd/4wd selector, going to take one off a friends car to see if it’s as simple as plug and go

Terrible that Nissan made the lock button an option on some lower specs leaves owners very vulnerable just so Nissan can make some cash
