Having trouble with my Nissan connect system. Could I replace the whole unit without losing functionality? Help!

Replace it like for like and no problem. Use aftermarket accessories and you could create problems. There is quite a bit of info on the forum if you search for it. Also worth a search on uTube.

There was a fella just recently on here or the other qashqai forum where a chap had fitted an android head unit and patch leads to retain the 360 cameras ........ very tempted myself as have a teknika but the original connect is a bit lacking but have been using my phone as autoandroid connected to the connect unit via Bluetooth which does all the same things as a android head the sounds through the connect unit and display on phone screen

It's very intuitive in that I put my phone in my holder and start the car, android auto on the phone switches it's self on when the connect head unit pairs via the usb so don't need to remember to connect it or switch anything o
