bigger ports as the j11 qashqai uses the new gas which is very expensive . use the search link and there's many posts on the subject

... and it might be a failed condenser - very common problem

MOst likely but went to a few places to have it looked at and their equipment to test it won't fit on the charging ports so I was wondering can and adaptor be got to put on them so that the equipment most garages use fit them they seam to be bigger than most normal cars

You need somewhere that handles R1234yf systems.

Try a Nissan dealer...

Try Googling < R1234yf > and your location.

Halfords do it...

No one else on this forum has to my knowledge even considered such an action let alone attempted it or succeeded at so doing.

However I see adaptors are for sale at Amazon - at a price:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listi ... dition=all

... or Ebay much cheaper:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Brass-R1 ... 2376151723

Not entirely sure why way these are adapting but surely it must be the way you want it since who'd want it the other way?

A lot of garages that do air-con repairs and refill still only have the 134 adaptors so they won't fit the new j11 ports so when I brought the car to a place they couldn't put any die in to see where the leek is coming from most likely it's the condenser but just want to check it first and they can't vacuum any gas out because of the port fitting so need an adaptor
